Massage

In our busy society, Massage is too often thought of as a luxury. But Massage therapy is a tremendously beneficial natural approach to overall health and wellness. Over and above its known pain-relief properties, it also improves circulation, increases joint flexibility and range of motion, and addresses poor posture. Massage therapy is also an excellent way to relieve stress and anxiety.

A massage therapy session generally involves locating and relieving pressure points throughout your body – the areas of concentrated nerve tension or where excess stress accumulates. Most of the main pressure points are located near the spine. Patients often note that these sessions leave them feeling looser and more flexible, with less pain and more energy! Like many of the other services offered at the American Back Center, Massage therapy is often integrated with other techniques – like Acupuncture, Chiropractic and home-based exercise – for more efficient results.

  • Usually covered by insurance
  • Targeted to an area, or whole body
  • 30, 60, and 90 minute sessions available
  • Cumulative benefit from regular sessions

I have only good things to say about them! They also have massage therapists in the office which is extremely helpful if you have chronic problems with tightness and knots like I do!

Would recommend to friends. The massage therapist knows what she’s doing.
