that can be used to relieve pain in the back and neck. It is a non-surgical option that uses a
therapy used on the spine to produce several putative advantages, such as:
To encourage the retraction or relocation of the herniated or bulging disc material, create a
negative antiradical pressure. Reduce the pressure inside the disc so that healing nutrients and
other chemicals can enter the disc.

Slipped Disc

A slipped disc is a medical condition in which a disk between the vertebrae of the spine slips out
of place. This can be a very painful condition, as it can cause the vertebrae to rub against each
other, causing inflammation and pain. Spinal decompression can help to treat this condition by
gently stretching the spine and relieving pressure on the disks. This treatment can provide relief
from pain and help to prevent further future mage to the spine.

Bulging Disc

A bulging disc is a type of herniated disc that occurs when the inner gel-like substance of the disc
protrudes through a tear in the outer layer of the disc. This can put pressure on the nearby nerves,
causing pain. Bulging discs are often caused by wear and tear on the discs, which can occur with
age. They can also be caused by injury or overuse.

Herniated Disc

A herniated disc is a common spine injury that can cause severe pain and other problems. The
discs in your spine act as shock absorbers, and they can become damaged over time. A herniated
disc occurs when the outer layer of the disc tears, allowing the inner layer to bulge out. This can
put pressure on the spinal cord or nerves and cause pain.
Spinal decompression can help relieve pain from a herniated disc by gently stretching the spine.
This relieves pressure on the discs and nerves, which can help to reduce pain and other
symptoms. Spinal decompression is a non-surgical treatment option that can provide significant
relief for many people with herniated discs.
Most frequently in the lower back, and the spine. A herniated disc may cause discomfort,
numbness, or weakness in an arm or leg, depending on where it is located. Many patients with
herniated discs don’t have any symptoms. Those who do experience symptoms, typically get
better with time. Usually, the issue can be resolved without surgery.

Degenerating Discs

Degenerating discs are a common cause of back pain. The discs act as cushions between the
vertebrae, and over time they can wear down and become less effective at absorbing shock. This
can lead to pain, stiffness, and decreased range of motion.
Spinal decompression can be an effective treatment for degenerating discs. The procedure
involves gently stretching the spine, which can help to take pressure off of the discs and allow
them to heal. In some cases, spinal decompression may also be combined with other treatments
such as massage or physical therapy.
If You Are Suffering From an Intense Back, Neck, or Leg Pain Ask Us About Vax-D Treatment.
We have had very favorable results and for many patients, it has given them their life back. Within
promote healing.

Spinal Decompression Effectively Treats Disc problems

Disc problems are one of the most common sources of back and neck pain. The discs act as
cushions between the vertebrae, and when they become damaged or degenerate, they can cause
pain, numbness, and weakness. Spinal decompression is a non-surgical treatment that can
effectively treat disc problems by reducing the pressure on the discs.
Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine. This creates negative pressure in the
discs, which allows them to heal and repair themselves. Spinal decompression has been shown
to be effective in treating herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, and other disc-related
conditions.
If you are suffering from back or neck pain caused by a disc problem, spinal decompression may
be an effective treatment option for you. To find out if you are a candidate for this treatment,
please contact our office to schedule a consultation with one of our experienced Chris Edginton
at American Back Center.

Chronic Back Pain

Chronic back pain is one of the most common forms of pain. It can be caused by a number of
different factors, including muscle strain, joint problems, and disk degeneration. Chronic back pain
can be difficult to treat, but there are a number of options available.
One treatment option for chronic back pain is spinal decompression. Spinal decompression is a
non-surgical procedure that uses gentle traction to relieve pressure on the spine. This can help
to reduce pain and improve function.
Spinal decompression is typically done as an outpatient procedure, and most people tolerate it
well. There are a few potential side effects, such as headaches or dizziness, but these are usually
mild and resolve quickly.
If you are suffering from chronic back pain, spinal decompression may be a treatment option worth
considering. Talk to your doctor about whether this procedure is right for you.

Chronic Neck Pain

Chronic neck pain is one of the most common conditions treated by spinal decompression
therapy. Spinal decompression therapy is a non-surgical treatment option for chronic neck pain
that uses traction to stretch and relieve pressure on the spine.
Spinal decompression therapy is often used to treat herniated discs, degenerative disc disease,
pinched nerves, and other conditions that can cause chronic neck pain. The goal of spinal
decompression therapy is to relieve pressure on the spine and nerves, which can help to reduce
pain and improve function.
Spinal decompression therapy is typically done as a series of sessions over a period of weeks or
months. During each session, you will lie on a table with your head and neck support while a
machine applies gentle traction to your spine.
Most people who undergo spinal decompression therapy report significant improvements in their
pain levels and function. If you are considering this treatment option for chronic neck pain, be sure
to consult with a Chicago Edginton at American Back center.

or weakness—that originate in the lower back and travel through the buttock and down the large

The sciatic (insert photo) nerve begins in the lower back and then branches out and down both legs, stretching to your feet.

Sciatica is identified by pain and/or tingling and/or numbness that radiates anywhere along the path of the sciatic nerve. Most often, the pain only affects one leg or the other, and can range from mild to severe. The most common causes of sciatic pain are a bulging or herniated disc , spinal degeneration and Spinal Stenosis. Stenosis is a narrowing of the spinal canal caused by disc degeneration or disc bulging outward into the canal. Those issues cause irritation or compression of the sciatic nerve, which in turn leads to pain, numbness and other symptoms. In the most severe cases, sciatic pain can cause weakness and even inhibit mobility.

How can Vax-D Help?

In many instances, surgical solutions are considered for sciatica treatment. However, Vax-D therapy offers an FDA approved, non-invasive alternative. Vax-D spinal decompression therapy uses a table and harness, to gently alternate your spine between stretching for decompression, and rest. This action creates negative pressure in the lumbar spine that restores space, releasing the irritated sciatic nerve, and alleviating pain. As therapy continues, patients experience long-term pain relief, as the damaged discs heal, which addresses the very root of the sciatica problem.

“Effects of KinesioTape in low back muscle fatigue: Randomized, controlled, doubled-blinded clinical trial on healthy subjects.”

Background

The use of taping (KinesioTape) in sports has become commonplace and we now routinely use tape in non-sports settings. This high-quality study asked the question: “does taping reduce the time to muscular fatigue as compared to not taping?”

How the study was performed

They had the subjects lying face down, hanging off of edge of a table with their legs and pelvis held down, and they asked them to hold themselves horizontal as long as they could (ie. They were holding themselves up with their back muscles).

What we learn from this research

This is an exciting study because the people who had the tape on their backs could last an average of 35 seconds longer than those without. This means that taping improves stamina and performance in activities that require endurance.
