The Vax D Experience

The VAX-D Experience

Vax-D is a new treatment that is becoming more commonly available throughout the United States, and people who suffer from pain in their lower back, or with sciatica, should consider learning more about it. It is a procedure for treating back pain that lasts around 30-40 minutes without any surgery or dangerous medications. Treatments are typically repeated over the course of about 20 treatments. Vertebral Axial Decompression is the formal name, and chiropractors, physical therapists, and medical doctors all over the nation are seeing the benefits of this innovative treatment for many of their patients.

During Vax-D patients lay down on a simple table. A technician puts a girdle around the patient's hip-waist. The girdle attaches to a pulley at the bottom end of the table. Treating back pain used to mean invasive surgery or pain killers, but this treatment works by the machine gradually pulling a little harder and then releasing. If the Vertebral Axial Decompression should cause the patient pain at any time they can simply pull a grip that releases the machine. The treatment is not known to cause pain, although some people find that the pulling motion causes a strange feeling that goes away as soon as it's over. Many people even fall asleep.

Vax-D sometimes begins to alleviate the patient's discomfort after one treatment, but it is more likely to take several weeks to see results. Even if the Vertebral Axial Decompression begins to alleviate pain in the first couple of treatments, though, it is best to continue for the full 20 treatments to ensure that the results stick. It is proven to be effective for treating back pain in the majority of patients and is virtually free of long term side effects, so there is no reason not to get the full course of treatments.

Vertebral Axial Decompression is a good choice for people to consider regardless of the type of pain they are experiencing or the area of their back that they are experiencing it in.
